Description

Sterling silver dinner fork and dinner knife with stainless steel blade and sterling hollow handle in the Reed & Barton "Francis 1st" pattern patented in 1907, and hand engraved on the back of the handle ends "E". The fork weighs 2.62 troy ounces and measures 7 3/4 inches long and 1 inch across the tines. The knife measures 9 5/8 inches long. The fork is marked on the back of the handle with Reed & Barton's trademark and "Sterling". The knife is marked on the blade "Reed & Barton Mirrorstele" and along the side of the handle "Sterling Handle". There are numerous tiny nicks and scratches on the knife handle and on the tines of the fork, otherwise in very good condition.
